When AI Gives Voice and Also Noise
I’m sitting with two conflicting truths.
One:
AI gives voice to the voiceless.
If you struggled with English.
If writing was a barrier.
If your thoughts were there but hard to express…
Now, you can hand rough clay to a machine and it helps shape it into something clearer.
That’s a kind of empowerment.
But then there’s the noise.
The polished replies from people who can barely speak the language.
The LinkedIn thought pieces that read like ChatGPT without the soul.
The comments that feel copied from a productivity cult starter pack.
AI made it easier to write.
But it also made it easier to fake clarity.
To pretend you have a voice when really, you’re just echoing templates.
I don’t have an answer.
Just a tension.
Maybe voice isn’t just words.
It’s where they’re coming from.
